6..thats right SIX !!

Six is how many kittens I have right now!! Here is the new black one who is tinny and supper needy-right after this picture he climbed right up my bare leg..ouch! All of his litter mates are extremely friendly..as Ellen found out while she was kitten sitting and taking awesome photos!
Apparently while I was gone... Ellen was bottle feeding the small black one and she set the bottle down for 1 second and Nubby ran over and bit the nipple right off the bottle! Bad Nubby!
In other news: Tabby was adopted Tuesday of last week:-) and this week Nubby, Mr. Perfect, and Nub's will be returning to the shelter and available for adoption!

WTF..

So , normally this time of year all us foster mom's would be getting a much needed break..but after my recent visit to the shelter where Sharon had 15 infant kittens I am preparing myself for a long kitten season. Ahhh..but they are sooo cute! This one had the softest fur EVER!

Christmas kitten..anyone???

Bye-bye Tabby

It's that time again..Tabby is old enough to go back to the shelter and hopefully find his forever home with what will be a very lucky family.

But he quickly adjusts and after a while starts playing with the locals

and OMG the locals are soooo cute..

Finally..Nubby has started putting on weight, here he is chowin down

But they know who they are...Nub's. His new name should be Fatty!!

Back at work

Due to Nubby's lack of eating I decided he and Mr. Perfect should come to work today...and per usual they spent time with their favorite office visitors... here's Tina gettin a little kitten action!

Back to the normal office routine..both kittens at the foot of my desk meowing...

When they get bored of that..they go for the lap..good thing I wore jeans today!

That's when things start to get ridiculous...then they go back on the floor and we start all over again...its a wonder I get any work done!

Hopefully Nubby will eat better this weekend and I can leave him home next week:-)

Kitten Containment Unit...

Check out my new.. supper cool.. two story.. kitten containment unit that doubles as a poop/food blocker for the bad dogs. Thanks to the KCU the kittens can now comfortably share space with the dogs while I'm at work.

Right away all the kittens love to play in, on and around the KCU


The blue bowls are the coolist thing ever..they attach to the KCU so the kittens can't knock them over..which they love to do! On the other side of the food is the litter box which I can access from the top. I LOVE this thing..best ever!! Even my old cat Tub-a-goo has napped in it!


Nubby like's it..and I think I finally figured out that human baby food (turkey flavor) keeps him quiet. But I'm a little worried he hasn't been putting on weight as fast as the other kittens and still feels extremly thin. I started bottle feeding him last night and increassed the amount of baby food. Not sure whats going on...if anyone has any ideas on how to put some wieght on Nubby post to comments.

Day two...all is well

After picking up the new kittens who were found starving to death..it is great to see them out and about soaking up the last of the sun and eating well!


After losing his litter mate Tabby was giving the new kittens the cold shoulder..


but day two..I think Tabby and the cute one might be dating!!

Nubby started off supper skittish..but now he's become slightly demanding!!

this just in.. the orange and white kitten has a short tail as well..since Nubby is taken thinkin Nub's as a name...
